Senior PC Technician

Under the general supervision of the IT Manager, performs complex professional work with computer hardware, software, and network systems.  Installs and supports network servers including operating systems and applications software.  Installs and supports personal computers, and network operations; provides hardware and software planning and evaluation; provides problem solving and training for end users; and ensures systems efficiency and integrity.  Provides research and support for new technologies to be used.

• Develop and Maintain a thorough working knowledge of Commit CRM.

• Assist with Server installation and setup.  This includes Multi platforms such as Windows 2012, 2016, 2019.  Servers, VMWare ESXi, Linux, etc.  Builds network servers.  Builds and installs personal computer hardware and software packages.

• Researches, configures and installs personal computer software packages, software upgrades, PC Support, Operating System upgrades and maintenance.

• Assists Network Management including development implementation of overall network operation systems, network software, sever hardware configurations, network file systems and directory structure.  LAN/WAN System integrity and security.  

• Assist the IT Manager with installation and configuration of network hardware and software.

• Degree in Computer Science or related field plus three (3) years of computer experience working with networks and computers.

• Must have a working knowledge of LAN topologies and architectures.  PC and Server operating systems including Windows Server 2012.   Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019.

• Microsoft Active Directory and Domains, Microsoft NDS, Microsoft SQL Server, and MacOS.

• Must hold upper-level industry certification such as CCNA, MCSE or equivalent.

• Have an excellent working knowledge of networking and servers in large environments (30-100+ Users.)
