Process Technician - Injection Molding (1st/3rd shift)

Currently seeking qualified Process Technicians with injection molding and/or robotic machine experience for 12 hour evening/night positions located in the Hickory area. This position is responsible for running a machine, checking quality, and removing finished products from the machine. 1st and 3rd positions are available. Hours for this position are 12 hour shifts working 7-7, on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. Weekends will be required for these positions.
- Working with the Process Engineer and Automation Engineer, develops new robotic programs for the ABB and Wittman Robots. These new programs could be for new machines, molds, or to improve efficiencies within the program itself.
- Uses root cause analysis tools and documents the findings when assessing problems/issues (molds, machines, robots).
- Ability to be certified in operating equipment necessary to complete tasks in production. This may include a variety of forklifts, man lifts, and other equipment.
- Works with PM Maintenance Technician and PM Mold Technician to ensure spare parts are maintained and ordered.
- Requires a high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience as a technician, with injection molding experience.
- Exposure to Paulson or RGV technology a plus.
- Ability to lift 50+lbs consistently.
- Ability to bend and twist and climb stairs and/or ladders when necessary.
