MIG Welder 1st Shift

• Adjust rails, stops, and components for welding assembly using gauges and tape (within 1/16 inch); refer to charts and sketches.


• Position and secure components (posts, braces, connectors, etc.) in the fixture, rotate and clamp with appropriate tools.


• MIG weld accessible joints, then reposition for complete welding; weld connectors manually or touch up auto welds as needed.


• Adjust wire feed, heat, and gas flow as required. Use gas torch for cutting and bending as necessary.


• Retrieve materials from storage, mount on reel, and assemble with a helper as needed.


• Keep work area clean; follow all safety rules. Perform additional duties as instructed.

• MIG welding experience or formal MIG welding training or able to complete and pass a welding test.


• Lift 25-60 lbs when needed.


• Ability to read a tape measure and basic math skills


• Reliable with good attendance and work ethic.


• All applicants must submit to both a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen. If offered a job you will also need to have steel-toed boots/shoes.
