Flagger/Traffic Control Flagger

Hickory, NC

We are seeking DOT flaggers/ traffic control flagger for ongoing work in and around Catawba County. These are usually first shift openings but can be second or overnight as needed or required by the project.

A Flagger/traffic control flagger are the men and women along roads and highways who help traffic keep flowing through a construction zone, despite a shutdown of lanes. Flaggers/Traffic Control Flagger often work in teams, with each person controlling the flow of traffic in a certain direction.

Required Qualifications :

Certified Flagger Requirements:

Current and valid DOT flagging certification

Strong solid work ethic and good attendance with reliable transportation to get to and from various job sites in and around Catawba County.

Ability to learn, take direction, and interact with managers and coworkers professionally.

Willing to submit to a background and pre-employment drug screen along with other skills testing as required by the specific employer and job.
