Are you a skilled professional with a passion for innovation and quality in manufacturing? Labor Connections, LLC is hiring a 1st Shift Lab Manager to join a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in product development and process improvement. This full-time role offers competitive pay based on experience, ranging from $20 - $25 /hr.
- Product Development Coordination: Bridge the gap between production and sales teams to drive the creation of innovative products.
- Raw Material Research: Investigate new raw material availability aligned with manufacturing capabilities to bring fresh products to market.
- Quality Control Leadership: Formalize and document quality control procedures, define quality parameters, and create a comprehensive quality manual.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with plant and departmental managers to enhance current manufacturing processes.
- Specifications Development: Establish raw material and finished product specifications tailored to customer needs.
- Customer Complaint Resolution: Lead investigations into new product/style complaints and oversee root cause analyses with the manufacturing team.
- Technical Liaison: Work closely with both MSYG plants to optimize fiber processing, including tow dyeing, stretch breaking, wool processing, and yarn performance.
- Product Testing Oversight: Supervise the product development specialist, resolve defects, and ensure thorough testing of natural, dyed, and filament yarn.

- Knowledge of fiber processing techniques and manufacturing quality standards.
